Chipper Jones used to stride to the plate to “Crazy Train” by Ozzy Osbourne. Mark McGwire stepped into the batter’s box to the tune of “Welcome to the Jungle” by Guns N’ Roses.
Bill Murray didn’t have a walk-up song.
He had a wake-up song.
Not just any wake-up song but maybe the coolest of all time. No pun (or Punxsutawney) intended.
Ok, you can blame me if you go around singing “I Got You Babe” by Sonny and Cher for the rest of the day. You’ll have plenty of company. After all, it’s Groundhog Day, and lots of folks will go back and watch the 31-year-old movie by the same name.
